Technology promotes transformation and development of media. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, smart media has become a reality and has become the latest development trend in the media industry. The International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and its Application on Media (ISAIAM 2021) will be held during May 21-23, 2021 in Xi'an, China. The conference is organized by Xijing University, co-organized by intelligent Media Professional Committee of China Artificial Intelligence Society, School of Journalism and New Media, Xi'an Jiaotong University, School of Media and Communication, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Intelligent Communication Professional Committee of UNESCO Global Rhetoric Society, China Education Television, Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Tsinghua University, School of Media and International Culture, Zhejiang University, IFlytek Co., Ltd., Toubide Culture Communication Co., Ltd. It mainly focuses on the  research fields of artificial intelligence and smart media, and is dedicated to  provide the experts, scholars, engineers, etc. from different colleges and  universities, research institutes, enterprises and institutions from home and  abroad, with an academic platform for sharing of academic research findings,  exploration of the cutting-edge engineering issues and discussion on the  current opportunities and challenges, in a concerted effort to promote  international cooperation and communication and the industrialization of  scientific research results.
